Harrell’s Washerette has always been more than just a place to clean clothes, it’s been a cornerstone of community care and service. Originally opened on August 1, 1967, by Elisha and Helen Harrell, the business began as a trusted dry cleaners, built on the values of hard work, integrity, and putting people first. For decades, the Harrells proudly served their community, providing not only clean clothes but also a warm, welcoming environment where everyone felt at home.

Now, in 2025, Harrell’s Washerette is reopening its doors. This time as a modern self-serve laundromat, but with the same heart and dedication that defined it from the start. While the machines may be new, our mission remains unchanged: to provide a clean, reliable, and friendly space where the community can take care of life’s everyday essentials.
